The opening ceremony takes place at Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Diamniadio. About 50,000 spectators are expected, including 15,000 by train.

  • One motorway lane is reserved for delegations, officials and emergency services.
  • Heavy goods vehicles are banned from the motorway from 7 am to 7 pm.
  • Our advice: TER from Dakar (1,500 FCFA in 2nd class), leave well in advance, and plan your return before the last train (around 10 pm).
